  4.   The  following  disks contain all the PD programs referred to in  the  above
  5.   publication.  They cover the entire spectrum of computing.  There are games,
  6.   utilities,  communications etc.  This set of 7 disks provides an  essential
  7.   backup to the manual itself and is highly recommended to users.

  10. >1.50  Y2M.13   Various utilities.  RESCUE - Recovers damaged data.  RECOVER -  for
  11.   undeleting deleted files.  FSELECT - This is a replacement for the GEM  file
  12.   selector box.  INPUT - a text editor.  KALENDAR - prints out a calendar  for
  13.   any  given the year.  KEYEDIT - lets you redefine your entire  keyboard  for
  14.   typing  foreign  characters etc.  MONOWARE - a mono emulator by  Mick  West.
  15.   Allows  most mono only programs to run on a colour monitor.  SPEED -  checks
  16.   the speed of your disk drive(s). VDU 2 - PD version of the Virus Destruction
  17.   Utility. DDP - a disk directory program (in German). SPEED MOUSE - speeds up
  18.   the  movement of your mouse.  CAT - allows you to define your  own  keyboard
  19.   shortcuts  in place of menu options.  FCOPY2 - a good disk copying  program.
  20.   HYPER  FORMAT - disk formating program.  Formats to over 900k on a DS  disk.
  21.   Read TXT file before use.  MAXIDISK - the best ramdisk program. This program
  22.   compresses  data  so  that  you can fit almost 400k of  files  into  a  300k
  23.   ramdisk!  It  is  also reset proof.  SET TIME - sets time/date on  boot  up.
  24.   Serial  allows  you to change the disk's serial number.  Sticker  -  creates
  25.   customised  disk  labels.  Includes its own graphic  clip  art.  Mono  only.
  26.   MONOMON2 - a 68000 monitor. Mono only.

  28. >1.50  Y2M.14   DLII - a checkdisk/unerase/disk editor program.  FOLDER.XXX -  this
  29.   program  takes care of the 40 folder limitation of TOS.  HD_DIR - Hard  disk
  30.   directory  utility.  HDX  -  Hard disk utility from  ATARI.  Allows  you  to
  31.   partition/format  etc.  HINSTALL - Hard disc installation program also  from
  32.   ATARI.  SPLIT  - this program will break large text files into many  smaller
  33.   ones then later recombine them.  SHIP - allows you to park the heads of your
  34.   hard  drive  before moving it.  HPLIKE2 - HP  type  calculator.  CALCULAT  -
  35.   standard  type  calculator.  BIT33 - a disk copying accessory  (in  German).
  36.   CONTROL  -  the standard ATARI control panel.  DESKCOL - does  weird  colour
  37.   effect  to  the  Desktop.  GOODIES - Various accessories  in  one  including
  38.   ramdisk,  directory  printer,  time/date setter,  backup,  undelete  &  file
  39.   copying.  KEYMAC2 - keyboard macros V2.2.  MELT & MITE - 2 fun  accessories.
  40.   MINIDOS  - Similar to Goodies.  MMCOPY - File copy  accessory.  RAMBUFFER  -
  41.   allows you set up a Ramdisk or printer buffer. PROTECT - once loaded it will
  42.   not  allow  you  to delete files on specified  drive.  It  acts  like  write
  43.   protect.  SPEED MOUSE - speeds up mouse movement.  MAKEICON - allows you  to
  44.   design your own icons & load them via icon accessory.

  46. >1.50  Y2M.15  Mostly First Word utilities.  CON.WP - converts ASCII files into 1st
  47.   Word format (docs in German).  1ST WD - Notes and Help files as well as  1st
  48.   Word manual & tutorial files.  INDEX PLUS - creates an index from a 1st Word
  49.   or ASCII file.  AJAX - text filter.  Removes unprintable control  characters
  50.   from  WP  files and converts file into ASCII format.  TYPEWRITE -  a  typing
  51.   tutor  program.  Unfortunately all text is in German and it uses the  German
  52.   keyboard  layout.  DRIVERS  - 32 different types of printer drivers  in  HEX
  53.   format for use with 1st Word/1st Word Plus.  NL 10 - printer drivers in  HEX
  54.   for NL 10 & NL 10KP printer. Docs in German.

  56. >1.50  Y2M.16  INPUT - A text editor for writing short files in ASCII text. Kemit -
  57.   Comms file transfer utility.  UNITERM V2.0D - One of the best comms terminal
  58.   programs on the ST (press HELP key for menu when loaded).  UUE - an Arc type
  59.   program  for  compressing/  decompressing  files.  ENCRYPT  -  if  you  have
  60.   something  to  hide encrypt will convert a file in to garbage.  Two  IBM  PC
  61.   programs for use with PC Ditto,  PC Speed etc.  MINI 17 - PC comms terminal.
  62.   Accepts   300,   1200,   2400  bauds  with  X-Modem  protocol.   PROCOMM   -
  63.   Communications program which includes macros for accessing Compuserve,  Fido
  64.   and others.  DEARC - deArcing program for the ST.  ARC 1.97 - an ST  command
  65.   shell for compressing/decompressing.

  67. >1.50  Y2M.17  All the programs on this disk are Mono and are games only.  BALLER -
  68.   In this game you fire cannon balls over a hill to destroy the other player's
  69.   castle.  MACPAN  -  a Pacman clone.  Docs also in  German.  MISSILE  -  stop
  70.   Armageddon  by shooting down incoming missiles.  OTHELLO - Mono  version  of
  71.   that  well known board game.  GEM DRAW - A medium or high res Gem based  art
  72.   program.  CONVERT  -  converts a picture file from one  format  to  another.
  73.   DENSITY - A high density picture printer for DEGAS PI3 files. Takes time but
  74.   gives great results. PUBLIC PAINTER - A MONO only art program. Mono emulator
  75.   is  on  disk.  SNAPSHOT  - allows you to save part (or all)  of  the  screen
  76.   display  in various formats.  PICTURES - A collection of .IMG files for  use
  77.   with DTP or 1st Word Plus. HACOMMINI - A mono game.

  79. >1.50  Y2M.18   SAGROTAN  -  A  Virus Killer  program.  One  of  the  best  around.
  80.   Regognises both boot sector and link virus.  Both program and  documentation
  81.   are  in German.  Monomon 2 - a 68000 monitor.  FIRST.WP - 1st  Word  printer
  82.   installation  documentation.  NEC - printer drivers for various NEC  24  pin
  83.   printers.  SFILECOP - Single file copier.  Docs in German.  TURTLE 30 -  the
  84.   most commonly used Hard disk backup utility by George Woodside.  UNTURTLE  -
  85.   Designed to recreate backups created using Turtle. TTLEXEC - A ramdisk which
  86.   is compatible with Turtle and Unturtle.

  88. >1.50  Y2M.21   UUX  -  a file archiving program.  ZOO  -  Another  file  archiving
  89.   program.  BBS-BOOK.TXT  - A 72k text file containing a list of many  of  the
  90.   Mailbox  & BBS numbers from EUROPE.  Includes details of times,  baud  rates
  91.   etc.  CLOCK - Displays a clock in top right hand corner.  ENGINEER - A  mono
  92.   only  disk and file handling utility.  Will not run under TOS 1.2 or  later.
  93.   MOUSE  -  An accessory that turns your mouse pointer  into  various  shapes.
  94.   CALENDAR - Prints a calendar for a given year.  CLOCK - Displays a clock  in
  95.   top  righthand  corner.  FCOPY_3  - new version of this  popular  copier  in
  96.   accessory  form.  FREERAM - Tells how much free ram you have.  ROCP - A  cut
  97.   down  version of Atari's Control Panel.  SPOOL - A printer spooler  program.
  98.   STARTGEM - Allows you to auto boot GEM type programs.  Neither necessary for
  99.   nor compatible with TOS versions 1.4 and above. PARTCOPY - Copies a selected
  100.   part  of the screen to disk or printer.  NEWFOLD - File copier.  SHEET -  An
  101.   accessory based spreadsheet. Press the Help key for a command summary.
